Wizbang Blog Standalone Trackback Pinger
As far as I can tell, you can't ping a trackback on another blog from Blogger, so the Wizbang Blog Standalone Trackback Pinger can do it for you.

I promise you I have no idea what this means.
If you want to let someone know you've linked to their blog entry without leaving a comment, you use a trackback function. (On some of the bigger blogs, you can see, at the end of a post, a list of trackbacks, i.e. who is linking to this post.) This function is built in to Moveable Type and some of the other blog software... but not in the free Blogger. That's why someone invented the "Standalone" trackback pinger.
I have no idea why it's wizbang.
